The highlights of this festival are British BBC Television, director Christopher Nupen, Russian TV Kultura, French choreographer Angelin Preljocaj, American dance legend Alvin Ailey and Golden Prague Premieres. In addition to the prestigious competition there will be a videolibrary for the public withall of the competition films, live concerts, Czech Television Day and other events. In our Focus on cycle: the Russian television station TV Kultura and British BBC Television will be introduced. This year we will present the magnificent director Christopher Nupen, we will commemorate the work of American dance legend Alvin Ailey and we will welcome French choreographer Angelin Preljocaj. Golden Prague Premieres - screenings of some remarkable music and dance films premieres that have recently been finished - will be continued in cooperation with IMZ. A joint EBU and IMZ worskhop will be held examining thecurrent topic of “Music and dance on television and new media”. Also the EBU and IMZ meetings will take place in Prague.
