One of the leading representatives of European Expressionism, Egon Schiele (1890-1918), who, together with Gustav Klimt and Oskar Kokoschka, established a new era of painting in Vienna, died more than a century ago at the age of 28.
Lucie Hayashi
Mgr. MgA. Lucie Hayashi, Ph.D., maiden name- Burešová (*1983), finished doctoral studies at Music and Dance Faculty of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU) in Dance Science/Dance Theory and got her master degree also from Japanese Studies at the Charles University in Prague. Besides dance journalism and production, she works on anthropological research of Japanese dance. Hayashi is cooperating on Japanese theater and dance productions, she, for example, choreographically prepared Madama Butterfly 2016 (ND Prague, directed by J. Heřman) and Nonomiya 2014 (NDM Ostrava, directed by J. Nekvasil) or spectacle Haiyu to Ame 2016 (Švandovo divadlo Praha, directed by Kristýna Loužecká ). She worked as assistant director of The National Theatre Opera in Prague. Since 2021 she is head of the HAMU Dance Department. She is lecturing Japanese dance and theater at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University and Academy of Perfroming Arts, where she is also teaching the Dance management and production and Performing Arts Management. She is the founder and editor of Taneční aktuality, an online Dance News Magazine, where she publishes regularly reviews, interviews or articles about dance.
