Personal Data Processing and Protection Policy
Policy effective from 25 May 2018.
The purpose of this Personal Data Processing and Protection Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") is to provide information about what personal data is processed about individuals when our company provides services, for what purposes and for how long our company processes this personal data in accordance with applicable law, to whom and for what reason it may be transferred, and also to inform individuals about their rights in relation to the processing of their personal data. The Policy is effective from 25 May 2018 and is issued in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as the "GDPR").
1. Who processes your data?
We are Dance Context, z.ú., ID No.: 27043720, with registered office at Na Pískách 495/27, Dejvice, 160 00 Praha 6, registered on 18 December 2013 in the register of maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section U, File 1199. We operate the internet portals www.tanecniaktuality.cz, www.dancecontext.com, www.dancecontextwebzine.com and www.databazetance.cz, and as the controller, we will process your personal data in accordance with the conditions set out below.
2. What personal data do we process?
We only process personal data that you provide to us in connection with subscribing to content newsletters at www.tanecniaktuality.cz, i.e. your name, email address and IP address.
3. Why do we process your personal data?
The main reason we process your personal data is so that we can inform you via our newsletter about interesting articles and information published on www.tanecniaktuality.cz. We also process your data for the purpose of sending you our commercial communications. Commercial communications are sent approximately once every three months. You can unsubscribe from receiving commercial communications by clicking on the "unsubscribe from the newsletter" option in the email you receive).
4. Who will have access to your data?
We protect your personal data to the maximum extent possible using modern technologies that correspond to the level of technical development. Your data is accessible to service providers who help us operate our website and our mailing service.
5. How long do we process your data?
We will process your data on the basis of your consent for a further 10 years, unless you withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via the unsubscribe link included in every message sent.
6. On what basis can we process your personal data?
We can only process your personal data on the basis of your consent.
7. How is my personal data secured?
All personal data you provide to us is secured using standard procedures and technologies.
8. How and when can you withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data?
You can withdraw your voluntarily given consent to the processing of personal data at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter.
9. Am I obliged to provide my personal data? What if I do not provide my personal data?
You provide us with your personal data voluntarily by subscribing to the Dance News newsletter. If you do not wish to provide your email address, you will not receive the Dance News newsletter.
10. What are your rights in relation to personal data protection?
In relation to your personal data, you have the following rights in particular:
· the right to withdraw your consent at any time;
· the right to correct or supplement your personal data;
· the right to request restriction of processing;
· the right to object to or complain about processing in certain cases;
· the right to request data portability;
· the right to access personal data;
· the right to be informed of a personal data breach in certain cases;
· the right to erasure of personal data (the right to be "forgotten") in certain cases; and
· other rights set out in the Personal Data Protection Act and in the General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 after it comes into effect.
11. What does it mean that you have the right to object?
If you no longer wish to receive commercial communications or other information about news related to the activities of Dance Context, z.ú. from time to time, you have the option to object to the further processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes. If you do so, we will no longer process your data for this purpose and will no longer send you commercial communications and newsletters.
