Opera and state theatres closed down in Turkey on Presidential decree

Turkish media report that the country’s opera, state theatres, and ballets were shut down following a presidential decree. The decree mentioned they would be closed on Wednesday night until artists and entertainment groups were “harmonised” with the new Presidential system that took effect after the recent national elections.
