At the weekend 7 - 9 November 2014, Brno Exhibition Center opens its gates to host the festival Dance Life Expo 2014 - a special event for all dance lovers. After a year, dancers of all imaginable genres and styles will gather again under one roof. In various courses, workshops, dance shows, choreographies and exhibitions, they want to present to the festival visitors the many faces of the dance world. Shielded by Art 4 People, the principal programme units, Classic & Modern Dance and Couple & Thematic Dance, can boast of a wide array of workshops with Czech as well as foreign faculty and also of a three-day programme taking place not only on the festival’s “Theatre Stage” but also on the main stage – “Evropa 2 Stage”.
Within the Classic & Modern Dance pillar, the dance classes will be given by such dance stars as Fernando Dominguéz, Mexican dancer whose company For Dance is to perform on the Theatre Stage; or by Mário Radačovský, current artistic director of the National Theatre Brno ballet ensemble,  teaching classical ballet at the DLE. And we must not forget other great ballet and contemporary dance teachers such as Linda Rančáková, Qaša, Tomáš Kuťák or Oliver Mahar and Jitka Tůmová – soloists of the Prague Chamber Ballet.
The open class workshops, for all those who are interested in trying a given dance style, will be led by Jan Březina, soloist of F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec, by Spanish dancer and precise dance teacher Agurtzane Peréz Olóriz, who taught at DLE last year as well, and Kristýna Slezáková, choreographer of the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre. And like every year, the experienced and popular dance instructor Adéla Judasová will prepare Contemporary dance workshops for children in the Kids Studio.
This year‘s Couple & Thematic Dance pillar will present the fol
lowing dance styles: standard ballroom dances taught by Petr Zabystrzan and Monika Mihalíková, Latino-American dances with Zdeněk Rezler and Eva Krejčířová, tango argentino classes led by Lída Janská and Antonia Aldea, and many more – Brazilian funk and zouk, salsa, bachata, west coast swing, lindy hop and Afro dance with the best teachers of the individual styles.
On Saturday, 6:30pm, the whole festival will culminate on the Theatre Stage with GALA SHOW of ballet companies. Within one evening, it will be possible to see the showcase of Czech ballet companies
. The programme will include presentations of almost all big playhouses with ballet ensembles: F. X. Šalda Theatre Liberec, J. K.
