Daria Klimentová Returns as Giselle

The English National Ballet prima ballerina, Daria Klimentová, is making a comeback onto the stage of the Prague State Opera, on two occasions, October 18 and 20, 2011, to appear in the title role of C. A. Adam’s ballet Giselle.

Daria Klimentová’s last visit to Prague as Giselle took place last May, when she danced opposite Vadim Muntagirov. The packed Prague State Opera auditorium rewarded both the visiting stars and members of the company’s resident ballet ensemble by an endless applause and standing ovations. The news of the ballerina’s October visit thus augurs yet another memorable experience of ballet art at its best.
