The 28 year celebration of our first contemporary dance festival has moved this year from winter months to its original spring timing (March – May) to International Day of Dance which we celebrate every year at 29th April. One of the highlights of the artistic part of the festival will be „Happening of Dance Conservatoires“, where will meet on one stage, this time in theater Komedie, the best work of student artistic companies like Bohemia Balet (Taneční konzervatoř hl. m. Prahy) and Balet Praha Junior (Taneční centrum Praha – konzervatoř). With one short duet will contribute Pražská taneční konzervatoř a střední odborná škola s.r.o. (before named STK I. V. Psoty).
The audience will have opportunity to see important work of well-known Czech choreographers: Chlapec a smrt by Libor Vaculík (The Boy and the Death, music Gustav Mahler) a Sonatina Drammatica by Ivanka Kubicová (hudba Alexej Fried), followed with Slova z Jantaru by Jarek Cemerek (Words of Amber, music Ölaful Arnolds) – all interpreted by Bohemia Ballet.
The foreign creation will represent works of two well-known artists and stable choreographers of Praha Balet Junior: Pass-Ages by Attila Egerházi (Hungary) and Intimate Spaces by Samuel Delvaux (Bel) – both prepared to celebrate 160.
