Lenka Dobešová Trubačová
PhDr. Lenka Dobešová Trubačová graduated from the humanistic Karlín Grammar School in Prague 8. In 2021, she received a master’s degree in Culture Studies from the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. While in secondary school, she participated in two editions of Prague Model United Nations as the Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Committee delegate. During her time at university, Trubačová took Art and French language courses, she was interested in dance history and completed the translation of Histoire de la danse.
In primary school, she was already passionate about journalism, being the editor-in-chief of a school magazine and writing for the local paper Petřkovický deník. As a grammar school student, she continued writing and conducted interviews with artists for the student magazine Šestýpřesdevátý. Over the past few years, she has collaborated with online magazines as well as print media – Lidové noviny, MF dnes, the National Theatre, OperaPlus, Scéna.cz, Nenuďtese.cz.
She has been writing for Taneční aktuality since 2007.
