New Web presents Small Inventory Festival 2012

Between February 21 and February 29, 2012 a festival of new theatre Small Inventory takes place in Prague. One of the largest festivals of its kind celebrates this year its tenth anniversary with the subheading "Ten years of solid theatre work". Among the venues that participate in the project are for instance Ponec Theatre, Alfred ve dvoře, Meetfactory, New Stage of the National Theatre, ALT@ Studio and Experimental venue Roxy / NoD, especially for the occasion of the festival the premises of festival club Blink at Holešovice market are to be opened too, this site is then supposed to become an evening Festival headquarters and on February 26 the 10th anniversary celebration of Small Inventory will be held there. Adriana Světlíková, the main organizer of the festival, says of it: "I see the exceptionality of this year especially in the unique opportunity to see performances by artists who have, over the ten past years, established themselves among the international elite in the new theater field." The festival starts on February 21, 2012 with a Gala evening at the theatre La Fabrika, in the course of which for the first time in festival history Czech Theatre DNA prizes will be awarded to personalities who contributed significantly to the field of new theatre. The following day the festival programme launches at the Alfred ve dvoře theatre with a production Na větvi! (On the branch!) by company Décalages and at the New Stage with the project Slapstick Sonata, a joint work of companies Cirk La Putyka and Circo Aereo, bringing together Mozart's sonatas with slapstick comedy from silent film era.  For detailed festival programme, please check www.malainventura.cz
